Irony of Lightfoot - Ibex on Blue

I'm soooooooooooooo close to having every single Wreck-age and Exit release on color. I'm only missing one now I think. Milhouse - Modern Problems on green. I need to look over my list but I'm pretty sure that's all I need. Here's one I've been searching forever for.

This came out in 97 and became one half of the CD release called the same name. Incredible band that had a completely different sound than anything I had heard up till that point. Even when I listen to them now, I have a hard time understanding where they got their influence from.

I doubt anyone will mind me posting a link to download their discography. Which you can do here. Thanks to New West Crew for the upload.

  1. Hey Nick, congrats on another tough find. I have to say, I am tempted to just give you my Milhouse 7" on green... but we both know that wouldn't give you half as much satisfaction as if you found it yourself, right?

Thanks also for linking to the mp3s. Didn't have them before. Haven't listened to the other 7" for a long time but I think this band does indeed hold up well today.

  3. Thanks for finding out CD. We were influenced by a lot of deadguy, UOA, heroin and the noisy bands we would book to play shows. We also like a lot for the current music like nirvana and alice in chains, sunny day, mineral but always gravitated to the noisy stuff. We just weren't into playing the same stuff that most long island bands were doing at the time. Except for the 52x and milhouse no one was playing things noisy.
