Recently I've really fallen in love with podcasts. The 404, 2600, Extra Life, just to name a few. But what's annoying is every podcast that says they're about vinyl, isn't really about vinyl. They play music 90% of the time and the other 10% is them talking about the band or something. So I figured it was about time there was a vinyl COLLECTING podcast out there. One that was only about vinyl news, and what's being traded and auctioned. A podcast that briefs you on what's up for pre-order or what auctions are ending soon. Something for the collectors. Like I was telling my brother Tom today, I talk to myself about vinyl all the time, why not just press record? The video blog will still go about once a week, this will just break up that week a little. I'm calling this Episode Zero cause I'm using it as a test. I don't really know what the hell I'm doing just yet. I had no real plan before hitting record, I just winged it like only I can do. From what I hear it's not that hard to get this thing on iTunes, so here's my first go at it. Episode Zero - H2O Test Press Part 3
p.s. if you're wondering where the player is to listen to this thing, yeah, don't have one haha. This is what they say to do to get it on iTunes. Post a link and submit the feed to itunes. That's really what I'm trying to do here. If anyone knows how to do that please email me before I pull my hair out. Thanks a lot.
boom I'm a podcaster now.
EDIT - Ok I submitted my feed to iTunes...was pretty damn easy. I think it takes about 5 days for my podcast to be approved for the first time. Then after that it's fast. I'll let everyone know when that happens...damn this is exciting.
